This post is based on the elastic menu v2 I had written a long time ago. I am redesigning my portfolio and needed a collapsible menu. So I rewrote the elastic menu script and changed all hotizontals to verticals. The goal of this exercice is ultimately to rewrite my portfolio in ActionScript 3. In the next 2 posts I will convert this code to AS3. Click on the buttons to expande/collapse.

Actually the AS3 version is xml multi node collasable.
Due to the multiple classes and external files required for that I will most probaby make it available as a zip file. Coming soon,
