My second take on the accordion collapsible menu in AS3. This time around I eliminated the function responsible for animating the grow/reduce easing and relied on my custom AS3 easing class written based on the easing formula posts. This way I get a seperation between accordion menu functionality and tween, which is better for upkeep and further development. In the code bellow you will see that I commented all possible tween equations you can use. Interchange them and see how the menu tween changes giving it some character. This one uses Expodential easing and is quite jumpy.
The experiment uses an external class to create the slider. You can download the slider class here. Use it to set the speed of the collapse.

I had some questions before buying the .fla. Is it possible to have a button with X items and another with Y items? Because I do not found this in the code.
My second question is if it is possible to close a button while opening another, lime in Accordion Menu in AS3 v1.
Well, thanks for the answers.
